Pinewood Derby

This past weekend our ward had its Pinewood Derby contest. A family event that turned out to be so fun! Here is the starting line: Here is the ending line. Who's that fine looking backup judge? Oh that's right, my hot husband. We really stunk it up and lost both of our races, double elimination. But Jake had a ton of fun making it. We did however win Best Workmanship!I couldn't get a very clear picture, but Jake made little stickers with us on them so we could be riding in the car. This is me. I won't post a bunch of blurry pictures, but they really turned out cute. Porkchop was riding in the back. We got lots of compliments! Thanks Sara for letting me steal a couple of your pictures!

My New Favorite Thing!

Anyone who knows me really well, knows I really like red candy. Doesn't really matter what flavor it is. If its red, its sweet and fruity. And I am sweet and fruity. Well, last night after Jake and I went riding, we stopped for a quenching beverage and I needed a bit of sugar in me to take the shakes off. Anyway, I found these: In each little individual package there are twelve wonderfully delicious red starbursts. Strawberry. Cherry. Fruit Punch. Watermelon. Oh, I'm in heaven!

Legend Graphic Design

Jake's new business, Legend Graphic Design, is up and running! The website went public on April 1st. If you want a webpage for your business, or stationary, logos, brochures, or anything else, come to him! He's awesome! Check it out!

Going Compost

Here is a picture of our new composter. The picture is kind of blurry, but you get the idea. I put it in the garden so when its done composting, we'll just lift it up and spred all the beautiful dirt out! Its supposed to take about four months for a complete cycle. So I've been stuffing it full of leaves and all our leftover veggies, and old papers, and cardboard. I dumped a giant box of Raisin Bran, box and all, into it. Why did we buy Raisin Bran? I don't know. Ick. So if any of you are itching to put your left over veggies to good use, bring 'em over and dump 'em in our composter!
